I am doing some more dress shopping this weekend... going to RK Bridal. I can't decide if I should go to Klienfeld's too - any thoughts on either place?

Re: More dress shopping...
rk is ok in my opinion...you have to realllly know what youre looking for
you can only pick 5 dresses
and the dresses are all smushed on the racks in garment bags so its kind of hard to get a feel for what the dress looks like
the attendant will pick 1 or 2 more dresses after you try on your 5
i heard the prices are really great there
as for kleinfelds, I feel like every bride should go and get the experience...my experience was ok, my attendant was a little pushy and kept asking me if i planned to buy a dress that day
But i loved seeing randy and the owner...and the store has sooooooo many dresses...even tho i didnt have the BEST experience there...i still think you should go!!!
do both the same day!

my sister got her dress at klienfields (def spelled that wrong lol)...she was thrilled with her dress and the experience, granted this was a few years, pre-say yes to the dress

Yeah, I heard that things have gone downhill since the show started.
I just don't want it to be another experience like I had at the Brida l Salon of Manhasset where the woman there was super pushy and didn't care about helping me fine THE dress, just about making the sale. And she made me feel bad about not fitting into the sample (which was a street size 2/4) because apparently I'm the first bride she's ever dealt with who has boobs.

Re: More dress shopping...
i have to say that i went to Davids Bridal yesterday just on a whim, and the girls there were really nice
I knew they didnt have the dress that I am in love with and/or any style similar, but she was VERY helpful and from the begining i told her that i wasnt trying anything on today just looking with my BM. She wasnt pushy at all and she let me wander around by myself for a while to do my own thing. it was very refreshing.
Now granted that was only my first time there so who knows what will happen down the line, but i do believe that you need to go to a place that is not looking for just 'the sale' and is really looking to help you
