Does anyone think its redic of I go to davids bridal, spend 400 on a rather plain gown and alter the crap outta it so i can design it the way i want it? ive been lookin for a certain style back, but the designer that makes it costs anywhere between 3-5k I've actually found something very similar on davids bridal website...
Do you gurls think im crazy for wanting to go in that direction? I live across the street from a nice old italian woman who owns a wedding store and she does an amazing job with alterations.... Thats what keeps sticking out in my head

WOW! I say go for it... I dont think youd need much alterations at all!!!! Youre saving alot of $$$ Beautiful gown too!

I really love the $400 one!! Its beautiful! What kind of alterations would you want to have done on it? I don't think its crazy at all...you want to have exactly the dress you want on your big day!!!!!!

that gown is amazing, and if you can do it your way for cheeper i think u should def. go for it. Talk to the lady who will do your alterations and see what she says.

thanks guys! i dont know exactly what i'd do to it... jus too plain for me... i need some kinda beadwork on it and DEF would like to see if i can make it tighter fitting around the waist and hips ... i'll have to ask the seamstress how it is to work with chiffon...
that sale at davids bridal is almost over though! does anyone know how often they run the sale??? also the gown is spring 07... i hope it doesnt get discontinued
