More Issues

So, FH & I decide a string quartet would be nice for the ceremony. I get prices, I get demos, we make the decision, I speak to them, everything seems fine, I mail deposit to book, and TODAY I get an email that says: Oh, I think I forgot to mention that since your ceremony is outdoors, you will need to provide us with some kind of cover, so the instruments don't get damaged.

HUH!?!?!?!?! Don't you think this is something that should have been mentioned when I said the ceremony was outside ON THE WATER???

Now what do I do?? There is NO way I can afford to rent a tent to cover the musicians. I haven't called them yet to discuss this because I am just too stressed over the BM dress issues (as well as a few other wedding related issues created by FH), and I just can't deal. Looking for any suggestions girls.

is it stipulated in the contract. If it's not, tell them it's an expense you were not made aware of until now and they have to help provide it, but you can coordinate where it comes from for them.

give them each a hand made quilt and tell them to get over it!!
im starting to hate wedding vendors...
they all seem nice at first until after u pay and sign...then its like 'im sorry your name is who?'

i had the smae issue- i provided beach umbrellas..

Thanks for the suggestion. I have officially delegated the task of speaking to them to FH. I have enough to deal with - it's time he got back involved.
