I made the starfish bouts for the groomsmen and my aunt made my hubby's. It was easy. Starfish were from Oriental Trading (CHEAP) and the pin backs were from Micheal's. I hot glued them together...very quick, very inexpensive.

Are you serious? I just went into your profile to see who your florist was! They came out great, and I absolutely love the starfish bouts! So creative!

gorgeous flowers!! Did you make them, too? Can I ask who did make them for you and what they wound up costing? I love the idea of silk, but ppl are telling me it's goingto be more expensive...you can FM me if you'd like :) Congratulations!!

Re: More pix from wedding day...

My aunt used to do centerpieces in silk as a side business so we were able to buy with her business account. I spent $300 on the flowers which were 50% less than retail. She made my bride bokay, 6 bridesmaids bokays, 2 mom's nosegays, and one jr. bridemaids bokay from the $300. We went to Philips Silk Florist in Hicksville for the flowers. You have to buy the good stuff for it to look real. If I had used a florist, I would have paid through the nose for peonies in September. IF you want more info, FM me : )

PS I don't want to say what MLC is because I don't recommend them.
