I'm so sorry to hear this!! My niece has an eye disease that she was born with that could make her blind at anytime and shes only 9. I know its not the same but I just wanted to let you know that she has had a few laser surgeries to freeze the veins in her eye (or something to that effect) and the doctors have said it worked great and she hasn't had any problems. Just thought maybe that would give you a little hope!!
On a more positive not I'm glad FH grandfather is doing well!!!
that is sort of what the surgery she had today does...it's supposed to keep the capilaries from bleeding.
Yea my niece has a disease that her retinas can detach (not really sure all the details) but they did that surgey at least 2 years ago and she hasn't had any problems since and she goes for a checkup every 6 months. Hopefully this will work as good on your mother!!!

i know, but it's yet another....seriously - if she needs a great doc - my mom LOVES hers. She's had the lazer stuff more than 10 times... She's having the big time surgery thing next week....so we'll see how that goes!

Oh I'm so sorry to hear this...I must have missed your previous threads. I'm sorry that your family is going through this and I really hope that your mom is able to see your wedding!!!!
