I'm so incredibly sorry to hear this, you and your family are in our prayers, my uncle passed yesterday and I know how hard it is, but we will all make it through, we take solace in the fact that he is no longer suffering....I hope you can take solace in that as well, hugs, love and prayers to you and your family...

I hate doing this, but I just got a call from my dad that my grandma is back in the hospital. She's been in and out of hospitals for the past two years, but the doctors are saying there's nothing more they can do now and they're just going to give her morphine for the next few days.

Any prayers to help ease her suffering would be much appreciated.

Update: Thank you everyone for your prayers... she passed away peacefully in her sleep this afternoon.

I'm so sorry to hear that your grandmother passed away.

oh my god :( im so sorry for your loss! i know exactly what you must be going thru right now, i went thru it all about 5 years ago when i lost my grandpa who was like my 2nd dad and i was very very close to! still i suffer from his loss and cant deal with it nor forget that day.. my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, especially on this day! im so sorry and just hang in there and stay strong and remember one thing.. she is now free from pain and above in heaven in a safe place watching over you and the rest of your family! that is how i think of it and the only way that makes me get thru the fact i lost my grandpa.. you now have a gaurdian angel with you always and forever and she will be with you by your side every day! :) stay strong!

Thank you so much everyone... it sounds horrible to say, but it's almost a blessing... she hasn't been 'herself' in a long time. The timing of it is really the worst part. And my poor cousins lost their other grandma yesterday too - they're flying to Ireland today for her funeral and then coming back for my grandma's on Sunday!
