more RHs to look at....

OKay, I have a list of new RHs to check out. Please comment on any you have been to -- like/dislike and any quotes you may have recieved. You can FM me if you feel more comfortable.

As of now, FH is getting antsy and does not want to keep looking, so i really appreciate the upfront advice/comments you can provide. TIA!!

I am so curious to know about Dyker Beach Club that I beg my FH to come in there with me.

I've been the Sandcastle so long ago and its was very nice although I think they redid it since then. Good Luck!

I am getting married at the Sandcastle, and could not be happier. They were so accomodating and were willing to work with us on price. It is definitely pricier than other RHs that we looked at, but for what you're getting, I don't think you can beat it! FM me for more info!

Hey date twin!! lol I looked at the Sandcastle...it is really nice and I think they were going to be doing some renovations there (maybe its been done by now?) I also know that they were going to have 1 wedding at a time if you're interested in that. I don't know much about the Dyker Beach Club...there wasn't a lot of info about it when I first started looking at halls but Im sure its worth a look! Good luck!

I looked at the Sandcastle and really liked it. It's one wedding at a time which was nice..they were really nice people. I was impressed. They also give you a honeymoon in greece. The cocktail hour room is huge!!!
In the end we had to cross it off our list b/c we couldnt afford it.

My sister had her reception at the sand castle and they did a wonderful job-People still talk about how good the food was...her wedding was in '05.

i think i already sent u info on sandcastle. i booked it so obviously im baised. i had an appt. to see dyker beach club but i never made it. its supposed be brand new and have a view of the golf club and verrazano. i'd check it out if i was u.

We have had a number of family parties at the Harbor Club. The service and food is amazing!!!! I am prob. having my RD there!

IMO- I think you should definately add Chateau Briand to your list. We just booked them for a (big) Rehearsal Dinner and I can't even say enough about how nice and accomodating they are.

Ask for Dawn if you do go and speak with them. No one does it like the Scottos, the food is phenominal!

I went to see the dyker beach club. I really loved the place. I had 2 concerns... they werent open for business yet. and with this economy there was no guarantee they would be able to stay open for another year and a half without bookings. they were also expensive when compared to other RH i had seen.

I also called the Rotunda.. no one got back to me.

Fh an I were at the Sandcastle today to make a payment and all the renovations were done and it looks great.. If you go don't be afraid to negotiate pricing we did and we are happy with our price. I don't feel it is overpriced when you look at all they include. Good Luck!!

Yeah the owner owns a hotel in Greece so they give you a suite there for 10 days. They also own the Floral Terrace so those Brides get it as well. A friend of mine went on this honeymoon and said it as the best trip ever. FH's cousin is going on it in September (see is getting married at FT)
