More RSVP woes...

More RSVP woes...

OUr RSVP date was last Friday, June 10. On Monday we started calling people we hadn't heard from (total of 10, not too too bad). Mostly we got answering machines and left messages urging people to let us know by today (granted today has just begun but...). We still haven't heard from six people at all. Just tell me you aren't coming. How can people be so rude? I don't understand it.

Feel free to ADD your own vent here!

awww I'm sorry....My situation is similar...Our RSVP date was June 10 and still haven't heard from about 10 people....a few of those are people who have said 'yea we are coming' to FI or I, but it drives me crazy, why did we send it out with a stamped envelope if we were just going to get verbal RSVP's

I hear you! It's one of my biggest pet-peeves. I always make it a point to RSVP as soon as possible for that very reason. I kinda take it personal when people don't RSVP by the date...there was plenty of time between the invite arriving and the date...so do they think so little of me as to not even care enough to respond? Yes or no is not the point - what am I supposed to do about the plate...pay for an unsure or risk not having it there for a surprise arrival?

Still missing two- even though one I got a verbal reply but one my FMIL told me that the wife has a high school reunion and probably won't come. PROBABLY! Just what does that mean. My Dad is pressuring me to invite these neighbors that I was friendly with when I lived in NY but without know if this woman is coming or not, I can't make a decision on whether to add them or not!

Sorry hun!!! I had one couple RSVP 1 week before my wedding - which was 2 weeks after the RSVP date and they answered my email - from the RSVP date And the other sent me her card the day before the wedding, although she had already responded to my follow-up phone call She's getting married in March and I told her I'm not mailing my card in until the day before like she did
