I just heard that we're suppose to get 3-5 more inches tomorrow???? Did anyone else hear that? When will this winter end

If it snows... It better snow where no one has to go to work. I was off on Friday because that is my usual day off from work... But my business closed, so my co-workers got the day off with pay! With my great luck it will take me 3 hours to get to work, work for 2 hours because they will close and it will take me 5 hours to get home. Providing it does snow tomorrow.

I hope not tomorrow is my long day I have class at 1 then at 820-935 and on a good day with no snow it is a 30 min commute with snow it can take me 2 hours to get home.

Do you drive? The only advantage is that I think they take better care of the roads in queens than they do in suffolk and nassau. I was rear ended my 1st year coming home b/c they kept us way too long and it was rather dangerous. Our dean lives in the town the school is in and it doesn't occur to him that more than half the school comes from manhattan, staten island, brooklyn, queens and nassau. I have a lot of once a week classes this semester and since they are so strict with attendance I can't miss

Yeah Christine I drive. But I live on a dead end block and they NEVER plow here! So if there's a lot of snow, I won't be able to get up the block Plus, the last day that we left school early due to snow (In the beginning of Dec), none of the streets were plowed. Including the LIE service road and Francis Lewis Blvd. I was freaking out driving home. My night class only meets once a week and only meets till March 31, so they only allow I think one absence. But if I see that it's dangerous I'm leaving. I'll discuss it with the prof. next week. They can't expect us to put our lives in danger for a mortgages class!

No of course not - most of them take the train or live close by so they don't understand why people would be hesitant to drive home - for attorneys they are really quite..hmmmm...Lets just say that is also why they have been telling us we will have this great brand new school since before I started and they still haven't broken ground yet. Also they don't even schedule SNOW days into our schedule because it inconviences them so instead we have to make up the classes on a sunday morning (not sat b/c it is a jewish school). What school does not schedule in snow days in the northeast. We alreadys don't have reading days so they can't take the days from them

Yeah I know. A lot of the people from my school commute from Manhattan. And the dean takes car service to the school and home So she doesn't care. When is your graduation? Mine is May 23 and Barbri starts on May 22 I'm sooooooooo ****ed off about that. My school constantly does this. Why can't they let the 3Ls finish early???

I'm taking a summer class and finishing in July. My finals end on the 19th. Summer classes start on the 21st and graduation will be at avery fisher hall on the 25 (day before memorial day). I hear you. That is why I planned to end in july rather than may b/c I have no idea what bar I will be taking. I hope he hears early.
