More temp and irregular period questions.

We are still not ttc yet, but I have started charting because my periods are so irregular and I want to figure out what is going on down there.

My periods were regular when I was on the pill, which I went off of in the spring. My last periods were
6/18
8/16
9/8
12/8

Anyone else have a wacky cycle like this? Any thoughts?

Also, I have only been taking my temp for a few days, but my temps have been 96.9, 96.7, 96.6.

Isn't that very low? I am wondering if my thermometer is broken.

I have had very irregular periods all my life, and am now 25 weeks pregnant, so there is hope, just takes some extra work.

Personally I found the idea of charting to be rather stressful. Want an easier solution that is a lot more fun? BD every other day until your are pregnant. No matter when you ovulate you'll be covered.

Sorry that I can't give you more insight into the temperature question. My plan was try on our own 'the fun way' for 6 months, and then I'd think about more scientific approaches. We started trying in April and I found out I was pregnant at the very beginning of August (and I had only had one period in between).
