Is anyone nervous about having their reception where they do more than one wedding at a time? Just curious!!!

I'm a little nervous about that...but then again my day is not a popular day so i'm hoping no one else will book then. I'm sure your RH has lots of experience on how to handle more than one at a time...and ill bet you wont even notice you'll be on cloud nine!

Im sharing the RH with Corinne :). Her wedding starts an hour before mine, the only thing Im worried about is that my ceremony is going to be when her reception starts....so IDK how sound proof her room is......But I was guaranteed there would be no crashing of any sort, and that Id barely have a run in with her unless im chilling outside at the same time when they open it up to everyone.

I'm not really nervous. My reception hall has two fairly distinct areas so we really won't even know if another wedding is going on and I know that it has a really good reputation for service.

A little- JT has no more than 2 weddings at a time so that's not so bad. Besides my room is on the bottom floor and the other rooms are on the third floor (I think) so there's definitely two separate places. I also think it might be kind of fun to run into another bride- I'd hug it with her! LOL! The only thing I'd worry about is party crashers. I don't want the guests from another wedding coming in and taking away favors or candy or utilizing the photobooth meant for my guests.

I am not concerned at all!!! Even if we run into eachother!!! who cares!!! Its not like im gonna go dance it up in her reception!! LOL....
my only concern was that i know the photographer wanted to take some pics outside during the reception.... i guess it will have to be after DML's CH... no biggie

Nick told me that during my ceremony until the end of my CH that they block the whole outside portion off for privacy and as soon as My reception starts they open the whole outside for everyone.

You're having your reception at the Fox Hollow right? If yes, then I agree with what you said. I've never really heard of a bride having an issue with this, and I've only ever heard great things about their service, so I am not worried about this.

i was concerned about that too but Glen Island assured me that I would never see the other bride..we do have two separate entrances so that made me feel better..but honestly after thinking about it..its not that bad..

I was really nervous about that so I made sure to go with a place that only did one event at a time.
I've been to weddings that have had more than 1 event - in some cases you didn't even know the other people were there - in others it was awkward.

Re: more than one wedding at a time?
my RH doesn't have more than wedding at a time, but my friend got married last year at Beckwith Pointe in New Rochelle and there were two weddings going on at the same time. We didn't have any problems at all. We couldn't even hear the other wedding's music. The ony time anyone ran into guests from the other wedding was in the main lobby area.
