I am sick of everyone and their opinions. I am waiting for the one thing I (the Bride) picks and everyone says, What a wonderful Idea! It doesnt seem to be happening and I doubt it ever will.
It goes with etiquette and taste. I just exhausted and am beginning not to tell anyone anything. Is this wrong? is this happening to anyone else?
Lastly I may not do flowers for my girls I was thinking of clutches. Well You would think I suggested walking down the isle naked!!!!!!!!!!!

Even though you're super excited about your day and want to tell everyone all the amazing things you have planned sometimes its better not to say anything at all. I decided I'm not volunteering any information about my wedding to anyone. If they ask then I'll give them an generic answer, but no real details. I'm not looking for everyone's opinion because I really don't care.

i ask peoples opinions and when they agree with me it makes me happy and when they dont i talk s*** about why they are wrong to my FW. lol. this is at least what i did with my invite samples

haha it's so true, i watched my cousin just go through this! everyone suddenly becomes experts on anything that happens to you!
just smile and say thank you for your opinion, and just ignore everything they say!

I learned early on not to share details of the wedding with anyone. My mom was the worst with the oh, you're doing THAT and others would just give a look. So now I just come on here and tell my fellow brides. It's still a way to get your excitement out and not have to deal with opinions you are not asking for

i told my mom not to say ANYTHING when we were looking @ dresses until i said something. especially at places where there were no mirrors. she lacks a filter in that way lol. ps she failed.

I am starting to go through the same thing. My mother is very old school and the last wedding she went to was probably 1990 when you had to have huge tall centerpieces and the church had to be all covered in flowers. She is not up to date with today's wedding styles. I simply mentioned one idea to her I had and she got such an attitude. She said, 'what will everyone think.' I told myself that I won't bring anything to her attention again. She will just see like everyone else the day of. I say go with your gut. It's your day. You are not there to make EVERYONE else happy.

This is a great idea!! Just keep your mouth closed about it hahah. FH's aunt told me I really should block some hotel rooms close by so everyone can stay together. Not to mention she never asked everything else if they even wanted a hotel room! I mean... I was planning on doing it but you didn't need TELL me to!!
