Morning Sickness

I hate to scare you, but some women NEVER lose it until the end..or not at all. I had it until about the 7th month, but then I came down with the stomach flu in my 8th month...well, it returned for the rest of my pregnancy. So I only had a 3 week break really.


Hang in there...try the Emetrol...it tastes awful, but helped some. Also, TRY having your DH leave or bring you crackers and/or ginger ale by the bed so you can attempt to put something in your stomach BEFORE you sit up....the thing making you sick is the hormones that sit in your tummy all night/day and aside from the wild mixture, the motion of jumping out of bed can send you to your knees over ol' johnny. The cracker/ginger ale thing didn't work for me, but I've heard of it working for some.

i'm experiencing some morning sickness also. but i don't think i'm as bad as what you're going through. i feel for ya, girl!

i told my doc of my morning sickness and she recommended taking vitamin B6 (50mg) once a day w your (healthy) meal. also eating small portions and often and along with plenty of water throughout the day really helps ease the pain.

i really hope your morning sickness will go away SOON! hang in there, girl!

Does anyone have horrible morning sickness? I'm 18 weeks pregnant and it hasn't stopped. I'm sick morning noon and night and constantly throwing up. It's violent and horrible. Then if I'm not throwing up I have a horrible headache that goes down my neck and I feel like all I can do it lay down. Now - starting 3 days ago I have horrible heartburn. Does anyone else have this? All my friends felt fine and didn't really have morning sickness. Does anyone know what I can do to get rid of this??? HELP.......

I just noticed tis post - I'm sure you have done soemhting by now about it - but you MUST tell your dr. - I was like you too - but by 10 weeks, my dr. had me on Zofran and it has made a world of difference.... In 2 weeks, I lost 13 pounds from morning sickness - very scary....

I have gained back 5 so far. I have been taking Zofran for a few weeks - I'm 12 wks now....
