so i just have to vent i got no sleep last nite because im so aggrevated!! how is it that we have a 150 wedding guests invited yet for months none of our friends ever call us to do anything?? last nite we were free (FH was given the night off from BAR prep) yet we called people to see what they were doing and everyone gave us oh going out no one said hey you guys wanna come!! err!!
sorry over it had to vent now going to the beach!!

we hardly hang out with our friends as well... but its more bc we moved to the island and everyone is still back in the bx... its a really sucky situaton... if its alot of single friends, ive noticed that they tend to think us engaged people want to be by ourselves and therefore, the calls are more limited... our friends that are couples, tend to call us more to make plans...
but yayyy for the beach! im going as well... not sure where yet though

I hear you completely. We need to make new friends so badly, but after the wedding, lol. Unfortunately many of our friends are from different areas of NJ, PA, CT. So we only have a handful out here. Its really sad how dull our social life is. Thats why I am so excited about our GTG. I need a life.

I think this is just a part of growing up.....it happens. I don't see my friends that often but that doesn't make them bad friends or that they don't care anymore. We all just get caught up in our own lives as we get older and it happens.
