How in the world do you spell councilers? counclers.. oh lord!!!
Anyway... lets try THIS word

Does anyone know of any websites that provide information for first-time home buyers? Im looking to meet with a mortgage consultant but would like to read up on it before I meet with one.

what ever you do- don't use Ameriquest- My Fh is a mortage banker and he has to redo there loans all the time- they over charge everyone!
I would go to you bank and sit down with someone there- then shop for the best rate
FM me if you have questions- If I don't have the answers- I can ask my FH
If it sounds to good to be true- Like No clsoing costs- trust me it is-

Banks are def the best way to go...mortgage companies may have many options and many investors that they deal with, but if your credit scores are good, you are better off going with an actual bank, (like Chase, TFCU...etc)...it cuts out the middle man.

I agree 100%- if you have good credit, money to put down- and income to back it up- the bank is the best way to go
If you make cash/tips, have quesntionable credit and hardly enough for the down payment- mortage brookers can help
You can't believe some of the people my FH gets mortages for- it's easier to get a mortage then a car loan these days

I work at a mortgage banker and it's true...they can find a program for anyone no matter what situation they are in.
