1) Were they reliable and quick? 2) Were there interest rates competitive ? 3) Were there any hidden or surprise fees at the end?
Thinking of going with them - just wondering if anyone used them and how your overall experience was -thanks!

We used them for our co-op purchase because my father used them for his condo purchase. When we first met with them we were a little nervous because they did not explain the entire process to us. They just took our info and had us sign some papers. But, they did come through for us in the end. We had a very short deadline to get all of our paperwork in to the board and they were able to get us what we needed within a short time frame. They said they usually didn't draw up the banking paperwork until the closing, but our co-op required all of that paperwork before we could get approved! So they did come through for us. My husband did not like them very much though but on a more personable level. They guy we first dealt with was very stand-offish and was in the middle of moving their business from Westbury to East Meadow so he didn't seem to interested in talking with us thoroughly about the process. ..Hope this was somewhat helpful!

Oh yeah...right after we moved in, they sold our mortgage to Chase so we don't deal with them anymore!

I have met with them on Wendsday... The guy seemed in a rush... we went there after work around 7:15 and we were out by 7:45. 30min seems not a lot to explain the mortgage process and different programs (he run our credits earlier) . The rates I guess were comparable. We have to call them today and let them know if we are going to use them to please post more opinions.
