Mortgages

So FH and I are going to go to the bank tomorrow for apply for a mortgage. We wanted to get pre-approved before we go looking for the big house.

Do we have to make an appointment or just show up?

I think you can just go, like you would if you wanted to open an account at the bank ... ?
