Mother in Law help

I need help!!!! My mother in law finally bought her dress for my wedding in 2 weeks. The problem is......It's green, the same color as the bridesmaids! My girls are wearing sage, her dress is celery.....Do I say something or just deal?

Thanks for your help!

If you really don't like it, let her know she can wear something a little more flattering...lol (I' m so mean)

I wouldn't say anything to her. I personally don't think it's that big of a deal when the MOB/MOG wears a color same as the bridesmaids. The dress is different, and everyone knows she's not a bridesmaid.

you're the one wearing white that day, so who cares what any one else wears. At least the pictures will be uniform. Just think she could have picked a polka dotted dress! How would that have gone with your girls dresses?? Listen I know it's stressful, but wedding planning will get more stressful as time goes on, especially with the in-laws. Pick and choose your battles.

Re: Mother in Law help

I think I am just ultra sensitive with her because she has gotten on my last nerve! My FH is the last one in his family to get married and I am the first in my family. She said to me 'It must be difficult being the last one to get married, no one is as excited as they were in the beginning'.

She proceeds to call me about twice a month to give me all of her 'wonderful' ideas and I'm like, we already finished those plans, she just gets under my skin. I'm trying to be nice, but I'm ready to choke her.

PHewwww, now I feel really good.....

Take it easy...remeber despite the fact that your are marrying your husband, essentially, you are also marrying his family to some degree. Try to keep the piece as much as possible, because it will be less stress ful between you and your husband that way. It's bad enough that she shee you taking her son away form her, don't let her have anything else to say about you. Politely say 'Thanks for the advice, but we already have completed that task. I'll let you know if I need any help/' good luck!

I would tell her that the girls are wearing green..if she wants to look like a BM..then that's her problem. I would say, 'I don't want you to feel uncomfortable.'
