so I've never had it before in my life but I think I have the beginnings of pink eye. I noticed my eye felt like it had something in it so i go to look and the inside corner of my eyeball is red around the edge...and that fleshy gland is inflamed, i lowered my bottom lid and its very deep red on the inside of the lower lid.
now I'm freaking out because when i switched jobs I didn't think i was going to stay with them so I never signed up for my medical...but its been 5 months with them and i still haven't signed up for medical...how much is it gonna cost me to go to the doc and get this taken care of??
really? thank god! I've heard of people taking off from work for it so i got worried.

Go to a clinic at a CVS or Duane Reade. They're cheap and quick!

Be extra careful to not touch it and especially to not touch the infected eye and then touch your other eye. Pink eye is very contagious!

shouldn't be alot. Just whatever it costs for a regular doctors visit, each place is different and the most ive seen is about $100-125 just for a visit but many are less. Then just for whatever prescription they give you.

they sell one in rite aid, costs me 8.99..my daughter had pink eye not too long ago

thats what i was afraid of...$100-$125 plus meds for pink eye is ALOT...to me anyway. deff not something i planned in my budget
i'll try the cvs stuff and see what happens.

yeah i heard its very contagious. thank god i don't wear makeup...but i'll be sure to wash my hands with antibacterial soap often...its so hard not to touch it...it feels WEEEEEEEEEEEIRD

If you go to a clinic / out-patient type place you should be ok and it wont cost more than $100.
I did this once when I had strept throat. It was $75 for the visit and throat culture and they gave me a free prescription bc I told them I was in between jobs and had no insurance.
