Ok ladies she is driving me nuts. We went to Estelles and 'the store smelled.' We went to 2 bridal salons and 'all their dresses were old lady gowns'. We went to one more bridal salon and 'they were too expensive'. All in her words.
I am going to either rip my hair out or have to un-invite her.
I know DavidsBridal isnt highly recommended but what about for MOB gowns? Has anyone been there?
She did however find one dress in Estelles that was bright orange and the entire bottom was made of feathers. She told me if I dont stop bugging her this is the dress she was getting. It was hideous and she knew it. She just likes to get me all rattled....which is very easy to do lately.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Now I know why we turn into bridezilla. I dont need this stress with 4 1/2 months left.

Re: Mother of the bride dress
I've heard they have a huge selection at Totally You on Merrick Rd. in Bellmore. Haven't been there yet but taking mom there this weekend, fingers crossed! :)

Re: Mother of the bride dress
David's Bridal MOBMOG dresses are actually really nice and not that expensive.
However, my mother bought her's at Coldwater Creek - they have a store in the Huntington Mall and she looks radiant in it. It's below.
Jovani dresses are beautiful... and not too matronly. You can try them on at any salon and if the prices are too much you can go to the Wedding Center in Commack and order them there. Thats what me and my mom did.
