Can anyone recommend places to take my mom shopping for a dress today (Sunday)? She is a young mom (only 50). If anyone can recommend a place that has younger style dresses that would be awesome! Thanks girls~

My mom got a beautiful dress at the Bridal Reflections 'mom's' store. I felt that most of the dresses there were very 'beaded', and not her style, but she found this one: Good Luck! You can walk right in there; no appt.
Believe it or not, to my surprise, the Macys Bridal Dept. was really good and had a lot that my mom liked . (she's young too). She got her dress there.GL!

my mom got hers at My Daughter's Wedding III in Great Neck -- they had so many to choose from. I have pictures in my album

My mom got her dress at Metamorphasis in St. James - she was looking for a 'younger' mom dress too and said they had a nice selection. My step-mom got her dress at Eva's, I think in Sayville? She said she liked the store. I have pics of both gowns in my albums.

we found my mom's at Angel's Bridal, but purchased it from Phyllis for about $300 cheaper...more pics in my mom's dress album

My mom is a young mom too and doesn't want to wear anything 'old.' I took her to Estelle's in Farmingdale and she found some things she liked...also try SugarPlum in Lynbrook--they have a lot of nice dresses.

I would check out SugarPlum in Lynbrook - my mom got her dress there. They were so helpful and friendly and helped my mom pick out the perfect dress! I highly recommend them!
