Hello ladies.. Maybe you girls can help me. My mom wants to start looking for her dress for the wedding. She is 5'10' and needs a dress that suits her height. Does anyone know of a designer that makes dresses for tall women? Thanks for your help!!

my friends mom just ordered her dress she is at least 5' 9 or 10 and she didnt have a problme with the length

Most dresses come in long length. Usually women have to take the hem for their height. I have the opposite problem...my mom is 5'1' and nearly half her dress must be chopped off! But I don't think you need to worry about it...It should be fine just try any dress and you'll see it would suit her fine.

Ask about ordering extra length....I'm 5'9' and my sister is about an 1 1/2 inches taller than me. We both ordered extra length.

Most of the dresses come one length. My mom is 5'9, and nothing needed to be altered. It also deoends on what size heel she plans on wearing as well. Keep that in mind.
