I don't know where you live, but it Suffolk County my mom got her dress at Bridal Suite of Centereach. They had a great selection and were very nice!

I would highly recommend Flair in Stony Brook village, the owner is so helpful and you can't beat the prices. My mom got her dress their and the alteration are sooooo cheap. Because we had such a good experience with them my 3 aunt also purchased dresses from Flair.

My mom looked at
Macy's- not great
Moonlight Couture, merrick - the prices are out of control the dress my mom liked was $1600 dollars.

Queen of Hearts in Merrick. My mom got a beautiful dress there for my sister's wedding and I know she is going to look there again for a dress for my wedding.

carmela's bridal garden in Huntington, she is a dress maker so she can alter any dress she has. my moms dress was a strapless but my mom is having cap sleeves added to the gown

ITA... my Mom went there on her first shopping trip and may have possibly found her dress. First one she tried on too.
It's a decent store, but try not to get stuck with Marie. She was really nice and cool, but didn't help enough. She was quite the talker though!

totally you in bellmore on merrick road!

we just got a dress for mom off the rack this past w/e....we've had some illness in the family, so we weren't able to go sooner or spend too much on a dress for mom....we found one off the rack for $200!! it's gorgeous!
