My mom and future mother in law ordered their dresses yesterday. I'm very excited for them, b/c they both picked out beautiful dresses and they both love them.
Do you girls think it's weird/crazy that the color of their dresses will be almost the exact color of my bridesmaids' dresses?
The dresses that my mom and mother in law picked out only came in VERY light (think practically white) and VERY dark colors, and the only color that was somewhere in the middle happened to be the same color my girls are wearing.
Is that weird?

I don't think it's weird, I like the idea! Same color, different dress will look nice in pix I think.
P.S. Where did they order from? My mom's looking for something .........

They ordered their dresses from Lillette's (where I got my dress from). From what I've heard from my married friends, they got pretty good deals on the dresses, too! My mom's is *technically* a bridesmaid dress (NOT the same dress as my bridesmaids are wearing, though), b/c almost all of the Mother of the Bride dresses had jackets or sleeves, and that wasn't the look my mom was going for. I loooove her dress though, it's not your typical 'young' looking bridesmaid dress... it's sooo beautiful!
