Have any of you found shops that have nice MOB gowns that do not look like tents? Also, are you coordinating your mom's or FMIL's dress with the bridal party gowns. Is black okay at a black tie wedding? Lots of questions and little time.

My mom got hers at Helen's Bridal in Merrick. Bridal Reflections in Massapequa also has great selections and Estelles Dressy Dresses.
My mom's dress does not match (even though I wanted her to) Her dress is fitted and the shape looks nice on her body.

I actually had my mom and FMIL go to Macys and JCPenny and just pick out regular dresses that looked great on them! I had the same issue, the dresses for them are so ugly! Think outside the box.. as far as black, whats more black tie then black? My bms are wearing LBD's , i say go for it!

Went to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa on Sunday with my mom. She has been very picky and has yet to find anything, she found 3 dresses she loved at Bridal reflections. This week she is going to Pronovias in the city just to make sure she sees more choices. The sales service at Bridal Reflection was not A+, however they did have a very large selection and it is worth checking them out.
