Mother - Son Dance

Okay, my FI's mom isn't with us so he will be dancing with my Mom. Does anyone have any ideas for songs??? They both love country if some one has any ideas. Thanks!

I'm always a big fan of doing something unexpected---like 'Sunshine of my life' by stevie wonder. or a song from a movie that isnt to sappy-licious. I'm thinking that we'll be playing lots of songs from the Muppet movie, b/c our big day will be soo bittersweet, with our my future MIL to be there with us.

i think that that is such a great thing that your mom is going to dance with FH... i know that if we were in that situation, my mother would feel soo honored.

i googled country wedding songs, and saw 'i hope you dance' by leeAnn womack...
i never really thought of that as a song to have at a wedding... but looking at the lyrics made me think that it would be nice.. b/c it mentions heaven and faith.

i can't think of another song off the top of my head, but maybe you could find a song that honors his mother, but that he can share with your mother?
