I have a strong opinion on Lullaby by Billy Joel. I think this is an awesome song. But I would strongly recommend listening closely to the lyrics. It is a song he wrote to his daughter regarding death. I love Joel's music, but in my opinion, I wouldn't use this song.

Sorry musician friend, Joel's song Lullabye is not about Alexa's mother leaving. Her mother, Christie Brinkley was still very much married to Billy Joel at that time. She even painted the cover of the album the song appeared on, River of Dreams.
