My father passed a few years back. I wanted to know if anyone is planning on dancing with their mother. I wasnt going to but she wants to. What should I do?
I am doing a mother daughter dance I think...as well as a father daught er one...my mom and i are super close...i have seen it done a few times...i think it is very sweet
If she wants to, I'd do it for her. I lost my dad, and my FH lost his mom, so we are just not doing anything other than our first dance. But if it was important for my mom, I'd do it for her. If you think it will really upset you to do it, then talk to her about it. I've heard of other girls doing it, and it being really beautiful. My mom and I both don't want to do it, so that works out. I think it is just a matter of personal comfort and preference. Good luck.
