My mother and I are soooo close so I want to pick the perfect song for our dance. When I was little my mom always sang You are My Sunshine to me but I am having a hard time finding one that sounds good. Should I stick with the song for the sentimental aspect or should I chose one of the other songs that I love but doesn't have as much meaning?

Re: Mother/Daughter Song
OMG.. you HAVE to do something sentimental to the 2 of you.. that would be so special..
we danced to Bc You Loved Me by Celine Dion bc I just felt that my mom did so much for me bc she loved me and it was special to me

I think you should definetly stick with the song for the sentimental reasons!! My mom has always been my rock too!!! Everytime I hear wind beneath my wing I think of her!!

I am dancing with my DD to in my daughters eyes by Martina McBride. Have you thought of having a singer come and sing a version of you are my sunshine. I could picture it in the style of Carly Simon or Annie Lenox would be nice.
