Motherless (and Fatherless) DAUGHTERS - Please read - infor about our 1st GTG- Link included for main GTG thread
I am so sorry I have been out of the loop since my wedding.
It took me a while to get adjusted to married life, but here I am, very happy I might add![]()
Well, it's time for the planning of our First Get Together, mainly to talk and discuss what we go through as women, as Brides-to-Be, Newlyweds, and Mothers going through our life without our own Mother or Father beside us. (Of course, we are not TRULY Motherless or Fatherless, because they are always in our hearts![]()
All are welcome if you feel you need to talk.
Whether your parent has passed away or you just grew up estranged, if you feel you want in, then you're IN !!!![]()
The way I would like to do it is have the first GTG as a get to know one another type GTG.
I would need to know all who will attend, and as previously discussed do some kind of Buddy system, in case we are in some sort of depression or just need to talk to someone asap, we can call our 'buddy'.
I'm open to all ideas and thoughts![]()
I am thinking we do this after the holidays, perhaps Mid-late January.
Please try to respond to this one thread. FMs are welcome if you need to talk to me privately, but when it comes to GTG info, try to keep it here so it's centrally located.
All in all, I hope we can really form a wonderful community, and take a step towards healing ourselves and each other.
Thanks,
Liz![]()
