Motherless Daughters by Hope Edelman

After years of recommendations, I finally bought the book last night. Has anyone read it? Feedback?

I read it a few years ago and from what I remember, it was good. I cried through a lot of it, but I did feel it was worthwhile.

This book was a great comfort to me when I was in college. I remember the day I bought it -- I had to stop reading it on the subway back to my dorm because I was weeping. She also published a book of letters that women wrote her in response to the book. Both are excellent.
