Mothers' Corsages

Mothers' Corsages

Anyone have pictures or descriptions of wrist corsages for mothers? I'm not sure what to do. Do you get flowers to go with their dresses, or cream flowers? Thanks!!!

My mom was in Raspberry and my MIL in sage green, so we did light pink calla lillies for both and they matched nicely.

Oh, that sounds like it was very pretty. I know nothing about corsages- did you have some greenery/fillers with it?

Anyone else have info too?

my mom and MIL actually had mini bo-ks instead of corsages, they were very inexpensive too... she did them in light ivory roses... my mom and MIL loved have the mini bo-k instead of the corsage...

eta: i think it was called a nosegay?? does that sound right to anyone??

My mother was my MOH so she had a nosegay. Here is my Dad holding it for her:

It was hydrangea and roses.

MIL hadn't bought a dress yet when we were in the final stages of flowers so we just got her a corsage with ivory colored roses, baby's breath, and some leaves for filler.

As it turns out, her dress color was nothing like everyone else's (we were all in spring themed pastel colors and she wore red) so it was a good choice of corsage color.

ETA: MIL's corsage looks exactly like the ones hmpena posted.

Wow, that is so beautiful. My flowers are blue & green hydrangeas, that would be perfect...but both mothers want corsages and they don't work for that, obviously. I think we'll do like you did for your MIL- cream roses, but I didn't know what kind of filler to use. Good thing you chose neutral for your MIL!
