The day we celebrate the woman who gave birth to us or raised us to be the people we are today. So Whatcha getting her if anything?
Just curious.
Im gonna email my best friend’s mother with a E-card. She’s awesome! In my world she was more of a mother than any woman has ever been to me. Including all those stupid “prayer” sessions she made me go through if I cussed in her house or said something negative!! LOL I was more nervous introducing her to Jim that I was my stepmother. I was so afraid she would not like him. She definitely didn’t like my last fiance. She made it clear she disapproved of him, in his presence no less! God I love that woman.
My stepmom…. nothing. Real mother… HAHA Absolutely not!
How much is too much to spend on Mom?

My moms birthday is on the 4th so sometimes I combine and go all out - she has been soo supportive this year, and she had several health scares this year -
I just dont know she loves getting flowers -
I am thinking brunch/flowers and a great book!
You are a big reader - have any suggestions?
My Grandmother - lord is she annoying I am not sure - probably just the Flowers and Book because I wouldnt make it if she came out with us. I would throw myself in front of a mac truck.

My grandmothers are all dead (all three of them) But my father's mother used to buy all the kids Easter Bunnies for Easter. I keep that tradition. So in a way that's my homage to my Grandma.

wow - that is a crazy story !!! Umm she reads anything - more mystery, historical ficton, sci fiction (nothing hardcore) lets put it this way her favorite book is Mists of Avalon.

I am not on good terms with my real mother....my stepmother I'll get flowers or plants or something small...and for the MIL..who knows!

Grandma gets something from the whole family. Mom, I have NO idea. I sually split somethign with my brother b/c she is hard to shop for. FMIL, we get a book or something usually. I always send my Godmother a card, too.

I don't know about MAJOR ca$h but we got my mom a digital camera and will be sending her flowers (she will be at our house dog sitting as we will be on the HM).

My mom died when i was 15. So I go to the cemetery and plant flowers.
