Not funny in the least!

in fact, not at all!!

Also, this has been the case on google for YEARS...

It is not a glitch - people PAY google to have things come up high in the results... therefore someone has paid google for that to come up first.. not a glitch but someone who THINKS they are funny.

I am not going to agree that our President nor this great country is a failure....

I guess some people find humor in this that hit home form others. When i saw that months ago I got mad and I dont even like our president, but just about the fact that our nation people sometmes have no respect for anything at all...

Now, now, ladies, we are all adults here with different upbringings, personalaties, religious beliefs, morals, opinions, etc. We should be able to 'agree to disagree' without it getting too ugly

Adana..I'd just like to say...I'm not fuming.

I only made two posts on here. One where I said I don't think its funny. And two....agreeing with the other Nina and then stating that I dont' think these threads should be on here. These sorts of topics are bound to stir up something.

I am not singling you out nor questioning your patriotism. Just like you have your opinions, I have mine. I graduate in one month with My degree in Political Science and Public Policy. I have been studying this crap for years so responses to this never surprise me. You are in Law school, you are a Pro at these things. You are far more experienced and versed in these things than I am. So you should know that these things will cause debate. When have they not?

And I love differencing opinions, I welcome them because I love to hear a different side. But I think politics should be kept off these boards. In a time like this...people can get really offended.

I'm not offended by your post nor your views, I just don't think its very professional of google. Thats my opinion.

And Just like everyone is welcome to reply with a , I can reply with a because it affects me in a different way. I'm not debating with anyone.

But this is where I stand:

Politics and Religion(unless involving your wedding ceremony and questions of course) should be kept off the board. These topics can be sensitive to people. And whether or not it is your intention to start debate or not, with these topics, its bound to happen. Its inevitable.

Trust me, I'm not offended. I'm a proud American and I support my President.

That all being said, let's just break out the peace pipe here. The fact is when people send out mass email jokes or post them here, their is always that chance that someone won't appreciate it. Heck, I've worked for the headquarters of a gasoline company and gotten the emails from FRIENDS about how gasoline companies are trying to screw us and we should boycott...blah blah blah.
It happens, it's not that big of a deal, and next time someone will think twice about posting something that's not wedding related and others might not find as funny as they do.

sorry girls i agree 100% here... i dont care if you like mr. president or not it's the right thing to stand behind our country-- esp. right now more than ever. those are our boys (and women too) over there fighting and it really hurts me deeply when i see our nation, gov't, leaders, etc being portrayed in that way... we need to be postive and a moral booster for our soldiers and for our nationalism and pride...
i see things like that and so many other things on the news, late night tv, etc and it's like everything is one big joke-- just makes me glad that my grandfather who risked his life in WWII so that we can enjoy what we enjoy today is not alive... he would be devastated if he saw some of the things americans do and say in the aftermath of not only 9/11 but terrorism all over the world instead of dealing with people (i use the world loosely) like that-- such a shame but i'll never be ashamed of my country, everyone is entitled to how they feel but it cuts me like a knife when i see it or think about it, it really does and that's regardless of where i sit politically...

good god well said !!! and i agree, it's disgusting of google and i'll never go on that site again... and i dont think anyone is trying to start something but i think everyone knows it's going to somehow, along the way, hurt someone... so it should stay off the boards. i mean, we all bleed red blood and we are all human here but what google did is just wrong and it stirs up the whole thing about our post 9/11 world and i just think about those poor people and how the entire situation and anything linked to it is not funny b/c of them.

Just to clarify, I do not hate anyone because of their political views and I don't think anyone should...

maybe hate was the wrong word, but MANY people I know who dislike the president seem to have this hatred and I don't understand where it is coming from.

yes i agree so much and i'll bump as many times as i want b/c this is how i feel and it's not a small useless issue... these are our lives we are talking about and the world my children are going to have to grow up and live in. and the reason i'm dreading going on a plane next month and have nightmares about it.

and i dont know where the hatred comes from either and why it is not pointed in the direction of the terrorists who hate us (every american, remember that-- no matter how you all feel politically-- liberal or conservative) they would LOVE to see all of us dead so keep that in mind.

and our entire country should be united-- the way we were RIGHT after 9/11 was the way we should always be... like during WW1 and WW2. and i do hope we can end this and people feel better whether you were on the 'i find it funny' side or the 'i'm upset' side-- i hope someone on here posted something that made you say 'hell yes' or 'now i feel better' b/c then at least no one is offended any longer.

If Nina was the one offended and she has come to terms with Adana, why remind everyone what took place? Is it that you want this to continue? b/c i was responding to what others were saying and letting them know that i agreed with them so they don't feel singled out.

i dont think its right when someone takes it upon themself to say that the discussion is over and that we should move on-- what if someone else still has something to say? and i'm not trying to continue anything, just saying how i feel b/c i was deeply hurt... nina was not the only one and there were other people besides me as well.

so i'll say what i want thank you very much, afterall that is what all our brave men and women who fight are fighting FOR.
