Anyone already move in with FH after they got engaged?? And are you loving it???
I moved in with fh about three months ago. It took me a little time cause I was still living at home and couldnt break the 'cord'..LOL. I was at my moms the other day and wasn't feeing well and all I wanted to do was go home to my bed - NOT my bed/room that I had for years...but my and fh's bed!! LOL it was an epiphany!!! But now I am loving it!! I am still getting used to the cooking and cleaning and stuff...but its nice..:)

We moved in after 7 months of being engaged. I always thought that I wouldn't be able to leave my parents (only child) haha..but I love it. Even when he's at work during this summer (I'm a teacher)...I don't go to my parents....ever. Luckily I'm only about 15 mins away from my family..but living with him in so comfortable! Luckily it was a VERY easy adjustment.
The cleaning is the only part I could absolutely do without..but oh well!

I wasn't going to till we were married...to keep some kind of tradition...but let me tell you.. the thought is getting bigger and bigger everytime another wall goes up in the house lol

I hear you on the boredom. I am a teacher too and after the crazy year is over you can't help but feel a little bored and I really miss my FH. I try to make as many plans with friends as possible and work on projects that I know I will never finish during the school year. Tutoring is great too and brings in some great wedding money!

Yes we decided to buy a house instead of getting engaged (used money he saved for my ring for down payment)

we have been living together for a lil over 2 yrs... i cant imagine not waking up to him evey morning

Currently I'll do laundry, food shop, shop for myself, or go to the gym oh and go on LIW haha. Not exactly THRILLING, but I can't complain yet b/c I'm off from work for the summer. We also recently got a puppy, so he keeps me busy. Probably next summer, I will work to keep busy. I also want to do a lot of wedding planning this summer so that I'm not going completely crazy and stressed out during the school year.

We moved in a year after we graduated from college together. We stayed home a year to save and now it's been 2 years since we've been living together. I love living with him and I'm so happy to not be home anymore but it would have been nice to have saved a litte more...NYC is expensive!!!

lol thats exactly what ive been doin... minus the gym lol just finished laundry actually... FH better not get used to this housewife treatment LOL

I just moved in 3 weeks ago but have been staying here quite a bit over the last 3 years. I do miss living at home especialy when FH is doing dinner programs and I am eating all by myself (he's a sales rep so he is away a lot too). It is also hard since he's been living here a few years and is decorated 'his' way. I bought throw pillows for the couch and he was a bit fearful as to what I would do next haha. I am grateful to have the experience and grateful mom and dad are only 3 miles away :)
Me too!!! LOL I started changing things around....hehe...LOL My parents are only 5 blocks from us :)

FH and I planned to move in together before we were engaged...he actually proposed while we were packing his apartment. After moving in together the first few weeks were really stressful but now I love it!

That was my plan at first, but I think it would be too much on me with all the adjustments....LOL so I moved in before hand....

We've been living in sin for a looooong time...nearly 8 years...but we only moved out and got our own place a few months ago. We got engaged about a month and a half later. So much better not having mom around

weve lived together for 3 years now, it has its ups and downs, in the winter i cant wait to go to work or for him to go to work and get away from him because were always in the house together driving each other crazy l

i felt the same way! im very close to my mom and dad but so i couldnt 'cut the cord' either lol. but me and fh have been living together since december and when it finally felt like home, that was an epipjany for me as well!

I moved in 2 days after we got engaged and after a small period of adjustment, I am absolutely loving our lives together.
I still wish he would put his dishes in the darn dishwasher instead of throwing him in the sink, though, LOL!
