OMG I thought the movie was AMAZING!!!! I guess it could be seen as a little long but if you are at all into the batman series you will LOVE it, and it wont feel that long!! Heath ledger was so amazing it was scary... Its weird I was worried about seeing it and being so sad watching him act, but he embodies the character so much that you almost dont even see it as heath ledger playing the joker... you just see the joker... Dont know if that makes any sense. You do walk out of the theatre with a heavy heart though, knowing it was his last role and he did such an amazing job and he never got to see its success.

Just from the trailers alone he looks like he really embodies the demented character that the Joker is supposed to be. The makeup alone is striking. He looks like a true madman. Not like the corny, goofball that Jack Nicholson portrayed in the first Batman. I'm so psyched about seeing this movie!!!

I agree. He was amazing. Not once did you think he was a 'character' - or that it was Heath Ledger. He was sooooo good. It's so sad that he wont be able to continue the series - they could have done a lot more with his character/

saw it last night and agree that its an AMAZING movie...it is 2 1/2 hours but it keeps you entertained the whole time that you really dont feel like its so long while watching it. I kept waiting to see what was going to happen next.. SOme movies can be long and while youre in the theater you'll keep thinking 'OMG WHEN IS THIS GOING TO BE OVER' but never felt like this once before the movie. If i didnt know ahead of time it was 2.5 hours i wouldnt even have known until after i got out and saw the time.
Heath ledger was F*IN AWESOME in the movie. He did get so heavy into character, and made you believe he was this psycho killer.
This one and the other one christian bale did, batman begins, are amazing batman movies.
The only thing DH hated was that maggie gylenhall was the love interest, he thought it was a horrible choice lol he kept complaining about it.
The only thing i wish is that you saw the fights more, they were awesome fight scenes but bc of the angles and how fast it happened you didnt get to see it that well, but its supposed to be batman and his moves are quick and all so guess thats why lol

I Totally agree that the fight scenes were so quick it was hard to keep up! There were some seriously cool moves, but they moved do quick it was almost like my brain didnt have time to process it! lol But I never thought of the fact that batmans moves are quick to begin with, so it really makes sense that they did them that way. I think when the dvd comes out im going to have to watch those again on slow motion lol
