xmen 2 would be great, but there's a lot of talk about how there's similarities between the xmen and jews during the holocaust, and i teach at a jewish school, so no bueno
gangs of ny is awesome, yet WAYYYYYY too violent
actually, from what i know (and i went to jewish school my entire life) the similarities are purposeful and i dont think it would be a bad thing. i think it would be relevant to the kids because they hear about the holocaust so much, to see some representation in a pop culture movie they like might work out!
the only thing is some of the parents-they have reallllllly strong views about what they want their children exposed to-when we did our actual holocaust unit i had to clear EVERYTHING with one of the parents before it was taught
