Anyone moving/ or moved out of state half way through the wedding planning?

no, but are you moving? Is that why you're asking?

Re: Moving

We might be moving to North Carolina in the summer. Just wondering if anyone who moved found it difficult to finish all the planning. I am a teacher and we would have to move this summer or wait until the following summer. I would like to go this summer because we are currently living in my parents basement and I do not want to get married and have to still live down here. Plus I love North Carolina.

Re: Moving

I did move within the city I live in, but I have lived off of long island for the whole planning process (I live in Philadelphia & FH lives in NJ)....having our parents on LI has been extremely helpful in the planning process, but we really just have to pack the weekends we are on LI with wedding stuff! It's been working out so far....!

wow, I can't even compare. I thought having a bridal party out of town was tough.
So you'll come back in Dec. for your wedding if you move this summer?

Re: Moving

I am sure I will have to come back a couple of time sto finalize everything. My parents will still be here. It is not definite yet. All depends on how much we get done by July and also how much money we saved so far. Moving to north Carolina equals pretty big pay cuts.

Re: Moving

FH's brother had destination wedding and everything was a disaster. The brides dress was wrinkled in baggage check. Everybody was exhausted from jet lag. I had to carry the brides dress back on the plane, it was so heavy.
I suggest that you wait till afte the wedding. Besides, time will fly by.
