If we are just moving within Queens about how much does it cost to move? Also, how much notice do we have to give the company before the moving? Finally, any recommendations??

We moved from Bayside to Great Neck.
I went with Moishes and they were fantastic. I would use them again in a heartbeat. They were the only company who would give me a flat rate. We didn't have a lot of furniture (only bedroom, boxes and tv)...but it ended up being like $80 an hour I think.
You can call typically with a weeks notice.

We moved from Manhattan to Long Island. We used FlatRate. They give you a flat rate based on how the contents that need to be moved. This way you don't have to worry about how long it will take to move. You know exactly how much you are going to pay at the end of the day. They can be reached at flatrate.com.
