Moving to New Jersey..need a job!

So FH is from New Jersey and since he works in the city...and I guess I need a change we are moving to Hoboken...where he lived for a few years while we were dating. Problem is ...now I need to find a new job. I am so nervous about this change...and not even sure where to start....Anyone else moving from LI after the wedding...and looking for a job....and kinda nervous about it? (anyone know of any jobs in that area lol????)

Sorry I can't help you with the job search, but I'm in the same boat as you need to find a new job. We bought a house in PA and I am also looking for a job in Jersey.

I've never lived away from home so I am nervous about leaving family friends...and a new job all at once....

I feel the same way, i am comtemplating moving out of state and it will my first time away from home and moving in with my FH with a new job! Overwhelming, but I would feel blessed to have the opportunity to jump out on my own.

I got my degree in Sociology and planned on going for a masters in Social Work but since the wedding came up I've had to work full time so school was out for now...I've been working as a Patient Access Rep in a hospital for five years so I have a ton of office experience....

Hoboken is a great area!!! and it's a fast commute to NYC, just 10 minutes..Good luck in your search , I'm sure you'll be successful
