Moving Up Our Date Update...

Okay so last week I told you guys that we were thinking of moving our date up to THIS SEPTEMBER!! well we were all ready to start the craziness when my dad called me very upset. He is having a double knee replacement this month and will be in a rehab center for 6 weeks and then with a walker/cane for 6 months. He said he didn't want to walk me down the aisle with a cane and that at my brother's and sister's weddings he couldn't enjoy himself because of his knees and he was looking forward to having a really great time. I felt so bad that I told him I wouldn't do it in September, so now we're thinking Memorial Day weekend instead of Labor Day weekend.
Okay..Just thought I'd fill you guys in!

I was all excited to tell you to do it, and you can be my 'moving up my wedding to september' twin!!!

I think that is a good idea, your dad should be able to enjoy the day also.

Anyway, I know you're excited to get married, but it is nice to enjoy the engagement period w/ out rushing it.

yeah they have the sunday afternoon available...which is what we were looking for. We are so all over the place. we should just elope!
