Mr. Met

Fh and I are huge Mets fans and were thinking about having Mr. Met come to the wedding. Has anyone ever done this and if so how was it ???

I had Mr. Met surprise FH for his 28th b'day last year. He met us at the lounge in the city stayed ffor an hour, gave out t-shirts signed them and gave FH a bag of goodies. Too bad we all got bombed and he left it at the lounge Never found out what was in it. It was a big duffle bag. He charged $500 for the hour. But I still can't get the picture of his face when Mr. Met tapped him on the shoulder it was like he saw Santa. I was the hero to all his friends for the night. They asked if I was gonna get Sly stallone to come to the wedding I have a pic in my album of 'us'

You can get Mr Met from different entertainment venues. I think Tommy Tunes has him in a package. I've heard others do too.

I went to a wedding last year with Mr. Met. My friend is a huge Met fan and wanted him at coctail hour. He was $500 and there for an hour. He had an assistant hand out Mets bags as well. It was a lot of fun. She got hers through the Mets not a DJ or anything, but hers was during preseason so not sure if that will affect anything.

My FH is a HUGE Met's fan, but I think he would freak out if I had Mr. Met show up at our wedding! FH does not like being the center of attention, so having someone/something at the reception that would put even more of the focus on him would not be his idea of fun. However, that doesn't mean I'm not still considering it!!

I think that is sooo cool!! FH would love it and so would the kids at the wedding. Darn that little thing called a BUDGET!!
