So as a surprise to my FH we are going to arrange for Mr. Met to come to the reception for an hour. Has anyone here done this? Were you disappointed with anything? Anything we should know before we book???
Try fming mtdr1106 - she had Mr. Met at her wedding. And btw, I think it's a great idea!! Our cake cutting song was 'Meet the Mets'

i looked into it and i think it was something like 600 bucks for the hour... and we decided to chuck the idea b/c we dont have a ton of kids that would really enjoy it... although it would be hilarious for all
we are having Mr. Met too...I thought it would be corny but my FH loves it...lol

I was thinking about it, but I was advised that its cool for about 10 mins and then it gets old. The price is a little steep for 10 mins of fun.
im going to do it for FH's 30th bday next year though b/c it'll be less people so everyone can have their pics taken with him

We were quoted 500 for an hour. FMIL is going to pay for it as a surprise. FH actually mentioned it in the beginning stages of planning, and decided it would be too much money. Most of the bridal party (12 of them) are huge Met fans, and i think this will go over well. We are going to have him walk in with my mom if he can. I think it will be hilarious!

I tried to get Mr. Met, however there is a home game on our wedding day and he can't make it, so no luck. But Meet the Mets as a cake cutting song is awesome...
