Ooooh I have a date twin out there somewhere! LOL! (Father's Day over here...yes, I've gotten a little flack from people, as I'm sure your friend has. Meanwhile, most people I know don't even do anything on Father's Day with their dads; they just want to b!tch and moan about SOMETHING)

Interesting article, but I wasn't really a fan. It's worded in an extremely ungrateful and selfish way.

Re: MSN Article - Worst things about weddings

sooo i'm guilty of 1 and 2.. i have a 3 hour gap in between the ceremony and the reception (but the hotel is right next door to the RH so i'm hoping people won't be too upset!)

and we're getting married the friday of memorial day weekend.. my FH and I are going to try and set up day trips for those who want to stick it out the whole weekend on LI.

oh well, too late to change it now, my guests are going to just have to suck it up for a day!

I kinda agree with you. I do think the article makes some good points: ie- say thank you, have good food, etc. However, I felt the tone of it was that the author hates weddings. If that is true, he/she should not go to weddings. Weddings- like any party, person, or event- should not be put under a microscope.

I have the same thing. My parents will host something at their house with coffee, sandwiches etc. I picked a big time gap so I wouldnt be rushed with pics and stuff.
