MTA Riders?!?

So I was on the R train (I normally take the E train)and then this lady get on the train. She looks a little strange but who isn't strange on the subway LOL

Then she gets a seat and starts to HISS at people. People would sit down next to her and she would hiss. I never seen people jump up with such fear in their faces. I couldn't help but not stare but I did it with caution.

lol too funny--I take the subway every day ( i live in nyc)...sooo many crazies!--it keeps the ride entertaining though

I try to block experiences like that from my mind so I have no stories that stick out, but that hissing lady is too funny!!

Those crazies and also the rude pushy people is why I try to avoid the subway when I can. I work 10 blocks and 1 ave from Penn Station so unless its raining there isn't a reason to take the subway and I try to stick to it. haha

Umm yeah its always exciting riding the NYC subway.

I once was in a car with an older man who was wearing a hospital gown, no shoes, and was reading a comic book.

Usually it just astonishes me the things ppl will eat on the train. Lady next to me pulls out corn on the cob and starts noshing....gross.
My FH once saw a lady pull out raw pork chops and start eating it!!!!

OMG!!!! I take the subway everyday to work in the city and I see something strange every single day!!!! One time this lady freaked me out, she was on the train and all of a sudden got up and started walking up and down the cart staring hard at ppl. Then all of a sudden she punches the train door while it was moving and kicks it. I was like Oh hell no this lady is psycho! But yea she did startle me a lil.

How about all the sick passengers that take the train in the morning and make ppl late?!!!! I get that at least 3 times a week

I have seen a lot of people eating corn on the cob on the train... and always at breakfast time which makes it even weirder.

I am sure you do. A friend of mine said she caught a man touching himself and staring right at her one night in a semi empty car.

So awful!

My boss clips his nails at work, and the NOISE makes me want to scream! But to watch him eat it?! OMG cant even.

I have seen a guy with no legs ask for money on a train. There are others that will stare you down for money. On the D line there are kids that dance at each car for money.

I have seen fights, a weird guy who has to look over the straight edge of paper wherever he goes. So many weirdos out there. I defintely don't miss taking the train.

I was on the L train on New Year's Eve and a guy was sitting on the other side of the bench I was on. He was wearing a Santa hat and clothes but started singing out loud on the train. He started off with his own rendition of 'The Bride Cuts the Cake' and then started singing Happy Birthday to 'Aunt Patricia' but Aunt Patricia wasn't on the train lol.

crashing! i totally would've busted out of that train. you just cant trust these crazies on the train!!

i don't have a funny one but a gross/scary one. there was a dude playing with his thing when there were 6 ppl on the car. he slowly kept on seating closer to me. when i got up, he followed. i finally got off the train and thank goodness he stayed there, otherwise, i might've pushed him on the tracks. i was scared!

She was standing waiting to get on right next to me - I got on and felt a shove and she was knocked to the ground and getting the sh*t beat out of her by a bunch of kids and 1 had a cane.

Till this day I think about that and how i wish I would have done something to help.

It was pretty horrible to see.

By this time the doors closed and all we could do was watch as the train pulled away... A bunch of us started to bang on the windows to distract them but that did nothing! I hope an MTA person on the train called for police assistance but I have no way of knowing.

O M G Eloise that is crazy. I never (thankfully) seen someone get beat up to that severely.

I once grew balls and broke up a fight these two men were having over a seat but it was more of a female type push fest then a manly fight (maybe that why I grew balls to help LOL)
