MU question

MU question

This may be kind of a silly Question but here it goes anyway bc I really don't know about this: For you ladies that are doing lash extensions or false eyelashes (i dont know if there is a difference), are you supposed to put masacra on these lashes? I had a MU trial and the MU person put mascara on the lases BUT it didnt look right to me. So, just wondering. thanks for any info!

I had false lashes and yes...my girl put mascara on them!

I already had mascara on when I went for my MU trial, but when she added the false lash she didn't put on anymore. I'm assuming she'll put mascara on my real lashes first, then add the falsies after

Yes, you're supposed to put mascara on them, so they blend with everything else. Maybe she just didn't do a good job applying them? They definitely take some getting used to!

Mine put mascara first then the falsies.

And eyelash extensions are different from false eyelashes. Eyelash extensions are more permanent and its a lil more of a procedure. Like they put them on so that they stay on for weeks or maybe months (dont know for sure never had it done) and are VERY expensive. False eyelashes, they just glue on for the day and you take em off at night =)) And MUCH cheaper! False eyelashes work JUST FINE for a wedding. And they look really nice when done properly!

Okay, I wasn't sure about this. So, thanks everyone for responding! She put them the false eyelashes on me and then mascara on top, but the mascara was kinda clumpy on the lashes. So I don't know if it was the actual mascara or what. I want to go back for another trail just to get this right bc maybe it was the wrong eyelash size?? I know there are different kinds of eyelashes, some thinner, thicker, juts the corner ones. So, I'll go back to try another time.

I got them professionally done once and they looked amazing. I didnt bother putting mascara on.

When I do them myself, I dont know why, but I put mascara on.

Its your call.

False eyelashes are a one time use. You wear them for however long (no more than a day) then take them off before you go to bed. Eyelash extensions you keep on for up to a week. Usually false eyelashes come in a track whereas the extensions are piece by piece. Also false lashes are attached to your lash line while the extensions are attached to your lashes (think like hair extensions).

You should put a little mascara on... just to get your lashes to stay with the fake ones. You dont have to wear mascara but your lashes may not curl the same way the fake ones do... and that will look like you have 2 lines of lashes.
