I just got back from there, last min my bro invited me out.. so i figured what the he!! I was really dissappointed!!!!
Im not sure what they are trying to do here but
1. they now have half naked women dancing on stage (which didnt really bother me too much)
2. They now have rings hanging from the ceiling and acrobats doing moves on these rings. the women looked like men and it was just an inconvience. They had to block off space on a overally crowded floor and it wasnt even entertaining.
3. THey had a hippie and a freaky looking woman walking around on STILTS. Its crowded and she is literally pushing through people.
4.. Oh did i mention that the cover was $15.00 on a Monday night.. .. COME ON.. its a friggin bar not Circus Soleil!!!! I wanted my money back!!!
What happened to going to a bar for some fun, drinks and dancing??
Please someone tell me that this was just a one time thing and they arent going to continue doing this moronic crap!!!

is monday still 'out of the weeds' night?? me and my friends used to go there EVERY monday night duirng the summers we were off from college
so are these ppl only there on monday nites?? or are these flying/half naked ppl there all the time?
sounds like i need to experience this at least once! lol
I dont go that often so i am not sure. I believe its still out of the weeds night and far as the 'circus' act.. i dont know if this was jsut a one time deal or soemthing they are trying to draw in a crowd (i think it will just push them out the door but that is just MO)

OMG- were they having some specialty kind of night or something. That's ridiculous. And $15 cover charge. Doesn't sound like the same old Mulcaheys to me....maybe I'm getting old, but it doesn't sound fun.
i know we were shocked at $15 as a cover.. some girls behind us where b!tching that there wasnt even a band there that night and they have to pay $15

thats not typical EVERY night ... i live about 2 blocks from there (not that i like it either, too packed, too over priced and its like a high school reunion) but it is fun occasionally and its not 'Circus like' every night!
also, they have some great bands ... i saw third eye blind, lifehouse, allman brothers etc. there...
also .. in the beginning of the season, they do offer 'weeds cards' that gives you free admission all year long!! if you are a mul's regular, you gotta get one of those and then not pay a cover EVER!!!
yeah im not sure what is going on with the circus hahaha... but i dont mind paying or going if there is a good band there. We saw Eve 6 there a while back they were good and they billy joel cover band 'big shot' is awesome. That is why i was so dissapointed in what was going on last night
