And can I take it with Nyquil? It was sold out at Brooks and CVS that I went to at lunch, so I am ASSUMING it is worth it!

My dad takes it everyday, actually. He's got a lot of health issues. Nevertheless, he has lots of nice things to say about it.

Mucinex works really well to break up a congested cough, just make sure to drink alot of water.

I would not take it with Nyquil or anything that has a cough suppressant in it.. you are trying to get the stuff up and out.. you don't need these two drugs to battle it out.

When I called the doctor, she said it was OK to take Mucinex with a DECONGESTANT ONLY. (Like Sudafed)

However, when I went to the doctor, she looked at my nasal passages and said that the decongestant was overly drying me and causing inflammation.

CAN'T WIN!
Instead, she put me on a nasal steroid, a steriod inhaler, a broad-spectrum antibiotic, and told me to continue with the Mucinex.

....$90 and 2 days later, and I'm still coughing.
