Is it this recipe? That's called 'Dirt Cake' Really easy to make. You need to have large mixing bowls because as you mix the ingredients together is sorta puffs up.
Ingredients 1 16 oz. Package of Oreo Cookies ½ cup Butter or Margarine (softened) 1 8 oz. Package of Cream Cheese (softened) 1 cup of Confectioner’s (Powdered) Sugar 1 teaspoon of Vanilla 2 packages of Vanilla Instant Pudding 3 cups of Milk 1 12 oz. tub Cool Whip Topping (thawed)
Directions: Finely crush the Oreo cookies until the mixture resembles dirt and then set it aside. Cream the butter/margarine, cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla until they are smooth and fluffy. Set aside. Combine the pudding mix and milk until well-blended and then fold in the Cool Whip. Gently fold the cream cheese and pudding mixtures together. Fold in ½ of the crushed Oreo cookies leaving ½ for the top. Refrigerate for 10 - 12 hours before serving. Serves 10 to 12.
Decorations: For a bit of whimsy, serve your dessert in a clean plastic or terra cotta flowerpot. (If you use a terra cotta pot, line the pot with foil or place a plastic bowl inside to hold the mixture.)

Here's another recipe: Easy Dirt Cups
Ingredients 1 pkg. (16 oz.) OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
1 tub (22 oz.) JELL-O Ready-To-Eat Chocolate Pudding
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed
8 to 10 (7-oz.) paper or plastic cups
Gummy worms or other gummy candies for garnish
Preparation CRUSH cookies in zipper-style plastic bag with rolling pin or in food processor.
MIX pudding and whipped topping in large bowl until blended.
PLACE about 1 Tbsp. of the crushed cookies into each cup. Fill cups about 3/4 full with pudding mixture. Top with remaining crushed cookies.
REFRIGERATE until ready to serve. Garnish with gummy worms as desired. Store leftover dessert in refrigerator

Re: Muddd Pie
Or this recipe:
Dirt Dessert
2 small packages of chocalate instant pudding mix 4 cups of cold milk 1 large container of frozen whipped topping, thawed 1 - 6 ounce package of miniature chocolate chips 1 large package of Oreo cookies, crushed to crumb consistency Gummi worms 1 child's sand bucket and shovel, cleaned thoroughly
Mix the pudding according to package directions. Allow it to set for a few minutes, fold in the whipped topping and chocolate crumbs. Put half of the pudding mixture in bottom of the sand bucket. Top with half of the cookie crumbs. Layer with the remainder of the pudding and then the rest of the cookie crumbs. Top with the Gummi worms, chill. Use a shovel to serve. Variation: To make individual servings, layer the pudding mixture and cookie crumbs into plastic cups. Use the pipe cleaners for the handles and plastic spoons for the shovels.
