I was toying with the idea of using different fall colors for each of my 5 BM's. Has anyone seen this before? I have tried to do a search but I keep coming up with nothing. I was thinking of having MOH 1 in maybe champagne, MOH2 in gold , then BM1 in orange (would that clash?), BM2 in scarlet/wine, BM3 in brown. Too much? Any suggestions for color combos? Should I use less colors? Tell me what you think! the orange keeps throwing me as does the wine but i really love the wine. maybe have all the dresses with the same color sash, like gold?

I dont think too much- I love that look! My mom actually had that for her wedding! So that is why I decided not to I woudnt trash the orange either- that is my color scheme
I like th color combo your wrote- the colors intensify up the line. And its all pretty much the same family.

I like that idea. I'm having the same color (burgandy) but all the girls will be in different dresses. They were each allowed to pick whichever dress they wanted as long as it was Vera Wang in satin this way we can ensure the exact same shade. My MOH is wearing a sandstone-like color.

I think its unique. My mom too had the girls in all different pastel colors (that was the thing to do in the 60's I believe). Your colors sound nice although I'm thinking the orange may clash with the gold...just my opinion.

yeh, actually my mom had different colors so maybe thats what put the idea in my head. come to think of it, i dont really want my 2004 wedding to be 1960's throw back. i guess i'll just pick one color that looks the best on everyone. maybe i'll do two colors with the sashes being the reverse of eachother so my 2 MOH can stand out and still have the whole party blend.

well the funny thing is that i haven't had the girls go try on any of the dresses i have seen that i have liked yet. the few i've found all ahd some sort of tie or sash so hopefully they will go over well with the girls! cant wait to post on the BM dress thread! thanks girls
